There have been lots of happenings recently with natural disasters to  disasters. From political movements in our neighbouring countries to bread and butter of our daily lives. Well, of course, personally, its been catching up with my friends locally and overseas as well.

I’ve been following, just a little, the recent opposition movements in Singapore. Notably WP’s youth forum on voting at 18 which caused quite abit of “quakes” among the local scene. More interestingly, the recent private screening of the documentary by Seelan Palay of, One Nation, under Lee. Which talks about the suppression of media by our leader. It was… kind of entertaining to watch. I’ll the comments to you while you watch the confrontation between the MDA, Police and SDP. (This is an actual confrontation)

Our neighbours are also having quite abit of storm literally and politically. My deepest condolences to the victims of China quake and Myanmar victims. I guess we’ll be seeing a change in the political landscape soon in Malaysia as well. Stay tune. Taiwan is going through a new phase in their progress, either to “nationhood” or “brotherhood”? note that Taiwan’s current president is a friend of George Bush, both alumni of Havard… Mmm…  We’ll see.

Recent discussion on both my friend’s blog on communication got me thinking as well… hahaha. Not sure where yanz started the idea, but my guess was the fact that her sister started exchange overseas. And Ivy caught the “communication flu” as well. Maybe I caught it too? Haha. Let me put it in the business context. SImply, communicating your ideas to your clients. You do it well, solves his problem, he understands. Well done, deal clinched. But be it business or personal, Mankind has a long way to go learning how to communicate. If not, wars and manmade disasters can sure be avoided… IF, I’m given the chance to have one super natural power, it will be to read people’s mind! hehe.

Been meeting up with friends as well. I guess it’s about moving on when people leave me behind in their lives. No point getting upset over it. Sometimes people just drift apart I guess. No matter how hard one try, it doesn’t seem to come back or get any better. Oh well, hope productions go on well without any more upset for you Nuruls. And to Kucing, its kind of hard to contact you during the weeks nowadays due to you lack of connectivity over in school in Serembum? (did I get it right? Hahaha) But hope all is well, embrace the changes. And hope all is fine for you. ^_^ And to Magz, haven’t been meeting up, hope all is well and hang in there with your job! I’ve been reading up on your complaints… hahaha. U sure hate your boss… hahahaha ^_^

Work and no life is hitting me hard. damn… hahaha. I think I’m going to miss the times when four of us, Liwei, Hanzhong, Ernest and myself get together… Ernest had already started working in Hong Kong for awhile… three of us meeting up nowadays. And Liwei is going over in June as well. And that basket Hanzhong say he thought maybe apply a job in Hong Kong also… Leaving me all alone here… Somehow even before that day comes, I’m already missing the time 4 of us come together… Will be going down in June to reunite the four! hahaha. Nothing beats 16 years of friendship… not something even money can buy.

On the fun side, Euro 2008 is coming soon, I’ll leaving on a jet plane to China/Hong Kong in June for a friend visit. And gosh… I think I put on weight! damn… and for all my running… what happen?  (this isn’t really fun knowing that my pants are tighter now…) Hahahaha. Ok, I admit, I stopped for a week or two, but I started running again recently.

And what’s left is the taste of victory we’ve been waiting for so long… and the journey ahead after that. I’m ready for that journey. Just need the opportunity now… bless me.
